On the cusp of enlightenment...

What's too bad:

1. That I haven't blogged since May. At least I hope you think that it's too bad! ;-)
2. That the only subject title I could come up with for this entry is centered around the paper I have to write today.
3. That today is a loverly day and I have to be cooped up inside my house or inside the university typing a paper.
4. That I began by talking about negative things. AH!!!

What's looking up!:

1. I am beginning to blog again. I like blogs. Keep blogging, all. You push me over the edge of the cusp of enlightenment! :)
2. My thoughts are centered around the paper I have to write today. Let's hope that means it will get done quickly!
3. That today is a loverly fall day. Seriously, Fall is probably one of my four favorite seasons.
4. Um...that I realized the folly of my ways by beginning with negative things. Hahahaha...haha...ha...h...

Mooooving along.

Do you know how hard this is, coming back to blogging after being away for (just a sec...counting...) 6 months?! That's half a year!! What to say that will encapsulize half a year...hmmm...well I just made a corporate decision (and I realize that "corporate" implies plurality, but if you don't know this about me by now, I am kind of a "plural" sort of person. No, I do not have a split personality disorder, but rather, I concur with what a green mentor (of sorts) said once: "I am an onion, donkey. Onions have layers.").....anywho, onto this decision that I made with me and my "layered" self: I will not attempt to catch everyone up on my past six months. I know you're all heartbroken. But chances are, if you're reading this blog I speak to you on a semi-regular basis anyway and know, at least roughly, what has happened in my life in the past few months. I will, however, leave you all with this thought:

"I hate it when people say somebody has a "speech impediment," even if he does, because it could hurt his feelings. So instead, I call it a "speech improvement", and I go up to the guy and say, "Hey, Bob, I like your speech improvement." I think this makes him feel better."

Oh, Jack Handy, you crack me up.
