two more classes, 12 more pages to type, one more book to read, 3 exams

yes, folks, i'm in the home stretch!

apology...sort of...: sorry i've been away for awhile...seriously, if i thought i was busy before easter, i don't know what i was on. this last while has been...well is there a word for it? tiring? yes. overloaded? yes? overwhelming? yes. impossible? pretty much. rewarding? if i think about it long enough, yes. expensive? yes (if you saw the amount of paper and printer ink i went through, you'd understand). discombobulating? absolutely--too much info in jennifer's brain will do that!

what i'm procrastinating now: so i'm delaying writing my last paper right now. it was due last friday, but alas, i have gracious profs who are wonderfully understanding. even this one particular prof wonders how i've been doing it all. when i told him during our hour-long meeting today that yesterday i submitted 42 pages of papers, he laughed and said he honestly felt sorry for me. yay. at least somebody feels sorry for me. haha...kidding. i think i need a nap. i'm starting to complain.

what i'm wearing: pants that are too tight. grrr...keep up with those 730am walks around th lake, jennifer! i think i can attribute this to the continuous snacking that helps me stay awake (that and strong hazlenut vanilla coffee that's been in the cupboard for a year and a half until now, since it's been necessary) the all- nighters i've been doing lately. grrrrrr...

what's running through my brain: i am deep and mysterious. to give that away would be like selling my identity on ebay!

speaking of ebay: except this isn't about ebay at all. haha. ok, well i DO have a story about ebay after i tell my story about amazon.ca--except that it isn't even a story, really. today i got paradise lost and paradise regained in the mail from amazon! YAY! bring on the summer!!! i think milton and i are going to get along fabulously!! wow. that was random. sorry. ok, so about my story about ebay. on one of my most favorite websites that is also the most informative, www.metafilter.com, i read a journal article written by an opium addict who was buying mass boxes of his "treat" on ebay. Hm. Whodathunk. Very interesting read. I recommend it!

what's been making my evenings when i'm not pulling-my-hair-out-busy:
John Tesh, baby! His radio show in the evenings is awesome. 92.1...tune in!! he's a born-again believer and he's just a joy to listen to. i learn lots listening to him. yay!

what i've been enjoying also: having my bro in the city! it was his birthday on saturday, and for the second saturday in a row, we went to paradise golf, that new, huge, indoor golf place on devonshire, just off rochdale. it's pretty fun! we hung out with cody heagy who did john madden imitations all night. OH MY GOODNESS. i laughed pretty hard! then there was graeme's bday party on sunday which was fun as well. Scattergories is always a blast.

now it's...back to the grindstone. or maybe i'll nap. oh ok, you've twisted my arm. sleep it is!
